Reports in Italy claim David de Gea will soon sit down with Fiorentina directors to discuss his future at the club despite an option to extend his stay until 2026.
De Gea signed a one-year contract worth €1.2m with the Tuscans last summer, but the agreement included an option to extend his stay until 2026 with a doubled salary.
TMW and Calciomercato.com report that De Gea will meet Fiorentina directors in the coming weeks to discuss his future at the club despite his extension clause.

Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso recently said he wanted the Spanish goalkeeper to remain at the club beyond the summer.
Tuttomercato argues that De Gea and Fiorentina will likely discuss a longer deal, although the ex-Manchester United star may receive offers to join other clubs following a positive campaign at the Stadio Franchi.
De Gea has kept ten clean sheets in 31 Fiorentina games this season, conceding 34 goals.
During his latest interview with Repubblica newspaper, the 34-year-old said he was happy at the club.
