Manchester United head into the halftime interval level at two-all against visiting Ipswich, in what has been another telling performance by Ruben Amorim's men.

Unfortunately for new boy Patrick Dorgu, tonight is a night he will want to forget after the Danish international was given his marching orders on receiving a straight red on what was his first Old Trafford start.

The former Lecce standout arrived in January amid plenty of expectation after he starred in southern Italy, but life in the top flight of English football reared its unforgiving head tonight.

Before walking down the tunnel, Dorgu was partly responsible for Jaden Philogene's opener after his moment of miscommunication with André Onana gifted Ipswich an early lead.

United battled back to go 2-1 up thanks to a Sam Morsy own goal and Matthijs de Ligt finish from close range, but Dorgu's awful challenge on Omari Hutchinson ultimately went to VAR before Darren England sent him packing.
