Sergio Conceicao’s appointment as the successor to Paulo Fonseca at Milan is the sixth change of head coaches in Serie A so far in 2024-25. Here is a reminder of every other coach to lose their job so far this campaign.
Roma legend Daniele De Rossi was the first coach to lose their job in Serie A in 2024-25. He lasted just four league matches before being given his marching orders in controversial circumstances. He was then replaced by the short-lived Ivan Juric.

On November 9, Lecce became the second Serie A side to dismiss their coach this season, as Luca Gotti was let go after picking up nine points from his opening 12 games of the season. Marco Giampaolo was chosen as his successor.
Roma made it two managerial changes just a few weeks after the sacking of De Rossi. The Juric experiment was not a success at the Stadio Olimpico, and he too was let go just two months into his tenure. He has since been replaced by Claudio Ranieri.
Just over a week after Juric’s departure from Roma, Genoa took the decision to sack Alberto Gilardino and replace him with former Arsenal, Inter and Juventus midfielder Patrick Vieira.

Another former Italy star in Alessandro Nesta was let go from his position in charge of Monza just before Christmas. He was replaced by Salvatore Bocchetti immediately afterwards.
And now, with Fonseca’s departure and Conceicao’s immediate arrival, Milan have made it six different managerial changes so far in Serie A this season.
