Roma’s search for a new head coach continues.
The capital club are still out looking for Claudio Ranieri’s successor after being linked with several candidates including Allegri, Gasperini, Sarri and Pioli.
The latest report by Adnkronos included a quote from a source close to the club which seems to indicate that the Friedkins have their priorities set straight for the next head coach.
“The new coach will be Italian, with a deep knowledge of Serie A and with consolidated international experience. The Friedkins want a profile ready to start a cycle, to work on a project lasting at least three years,” reads the report.
“What can be excluded with reasonable certainty is that ‘exotic’ choices are made or bets that are not functional to an investment that is ‘safe’ on paper: Dan and Ryan Friedkin have metabolized the mistakes made this season.”
