Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso insists he wants Moise Kean to stay, while Italian media claim Barcelona are also interested in the Italian striker.
Kean joined Fiorentina from Juventus last summer and is the second-best Serie A scorer this term with 16 goals.
Reports in Italy have already linked the Italy international with a move to Newcastle, suggesting that Kean’s agent had already met with the Premier League club’s directors.
A fresh report from Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that even Barcelona are looking to the Italian striker as a possible long-term replacement for 36-year-old Robert Lewandowski.

Kean has a €52m clause that can be activated from July 1 to July 15 this year, but President Commisso is willing to keep the striker at the Stadio Franchi next summer.
“I want him to stay. Then, if he can’t stay and somebody makes an offer, we’ll see. I’ll try to retain him because he’s important to Fiorentina,” Commisso told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are not first, second, or third, but we defend what we have. I don’t need any club to come here and say they are better than us or the king of Italian football, so they can sign whoever they want.”
Kean has scored 21 goals in 35 games across all competitions with Fiorentina this season.
His contract at the Stadio Franchi expires in June 2029.
