On 8 March, Nørgaard returned after missing the home draw against Everton through concussion and put in an assured display, despite former Bee Ollie Watkins scoring the only goal of the game for Aston Villa.
A week later, he starred as Brentford continued their remarkable away form with a fifth successive victory, this time beating Bournemouth 2-1.
Having trailed to an early Vitaly Janelt own goal, Yoane Wissa headed in from a corner to level proceedings with half an hour played.
Midway through the second half, Nørgaard fired in following a Kevin Schade long throw to complete the comeback and claim another three points on the road.
That goal was his fifth of the season across all competitions - he previously netted against Leyton Orient (Carabao Cup), Wolves, Manchester City and Leicester City - making 2024/25 his best return in Brentford colours with nine games still to play this term.
He also created two chances, came out on top in seven duels and won 100 per cent of his tackles in a true captain's display at Vitality Stadium.
“It’s been a month where we haven’t had many games so Dams [Mikkel Damsgaard], [Yoane] Wissa and Bryan [Mbeumo] haven’t had as many chances to score goals," Nørgaard quipped when receiving the award.
"I’ll try and find a space at home on a shelf somewhere for it if I'm allowed!
“It’s been a really good season for me and the team and this is one of the small acknowledgements which is really nice, of course.
"I’m really proud of how I have performed and how I have stayed fit. We’re not done yet but if it continues, I will probably look back at this season as being the best one for me personally in a Brentford shirt."
Mark Flekken was the Player of the Month for February, with Mikkel Damsgaard having won the previous four awards prior to that.
