After six consecutive wins in this match-up, Simone Inzaghi has failed to beat Milan in all three matches this season.

Indeed, Inter slumped to a 2-1 league loss in September before scoring a late equalizer in February’s 1-1 draw.

However, Milan got the better of the Nerazzurri when it mattered the most.

Despite taking a two-goal lead in January’s Supercoppa Italiana final, Inter returned from Riyadh empty-handed.

Meanwhile, Sergio Conceicao ended Milan’s three-year title drought as his team pulled off a stunning 3-2 win.
