Barcelona’s plans for strengthening their squad have taken a new turn with the recent offer of Christopher Nkunku, made to the club by his agent, Pini Zahavi, reports SPORT.
Nkunku, who has struggled for prominence at Chelsea, is looking to leave the Premier League side. He wants to recapture the form that made him one of the most sought-after players.
Zahavi, who has a strong relationship with Barcelona, has offered the French forward to the club on loan, suggesting a move that could be beneficial for both parties.
Nkunku’s potential move to Barcelona is seen as an interesting option, especially for their next sporting project, which aims to strengthen the wing position.
The player’s agent has even indicated that Nkunku could be open to adjusting his salary to fit Barcelona’s budget. However, Barcelona’s financial situation remains complicated, and they do not plan to enter the transfer market in January.
Despite this, Barcelona are closely monitoring the situation, as they see Nkunku as a player with significant offensive potential.

Reports from England indicate that Barcelona and Italian club Napoli are both keeping a close eye on Nkunku’s situation. While no major steps have been taken yet, Barcelona are aware of the possibility.
A loan deal is something they might consider, especially since it would not require a large financial investment.
Zahavi, who also represents Hansi Flick and Robert Lewandowski, has been active in pushing the Nkunku option forward.
It is to be noted that Barcelona’s main priority remains securing a winger who can provide goals and help create chances.
Big names like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli, Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, and Rafael Leao from AC Milan have all been mentioned as potential targets.
However, these players would require substantial investment, which Barcelona might not be able to afford.
For now, the club is gathering information on all available options and weighing up whether a move for Nkunku would be more financially viable than pursuing one of the more expensive alternatives.
