Standard Liege and RWD Molenbeek have reached an agreement that sees Soufiane Benjdida (23) loaned out to the Brussels club until the end of this season. The loan move reportedly involves a buy option for the former Morocco U23 international.
Benjdida recorded two goals and an assist in 16 Pro League games following his promotion from Standard’s development side SL16 in 2024. With that second team, he got six goals in the Challenger Pro League last term and joins Molenbeek who are now third in the second-tier rankings.
According to RWDM’s website, the Edmond Machtens Stadium is set to see “a fast, technical attacker” and “the third Moroccan player to join RWDM this season.
“With his energetic and graceful style of play, he forms the Brussels forward line together with Mickaël Biron and Piotr Parzyszek.”
