As they’re looking to strengthen their offensive unit this summer, RC Strasbourg Alsace are interested in Ludovic Blas (26), reports Mohamed Toubache-Ter. The Alsace side are looking for a loan with a buy option for Stade Rennais’ winger.
After a disappointing first season under Blueco’s ownership, which saw them fighting for their survival in Ligue 1, Strasbourg are determined to strengthen their squad this summer by concluding some good opportunities. The Alsace outfit has already sealed the recruitment of Colombia’s striker Oscar Perea (18) and Rennes’ right back Guéla Doué (21). Strasbourg could do their market to the Brittany side once again, as they’re reportedly eyeing a move for Blas.
Arriving from archrival FC Nantes last summer, Blas failed to live up to expectations at Rennes, logging four goals and an assist in 29 games. The versatile midfielder is gathering interest from Strasbourg, reports Mohamed Toubache-Ter, while the 26-year-old would prioritise a move abroad. With Liam Rosenior having recently been appointed as the club’s new manager following Patrick Vieira’s exit, Strasbourg are moving forward to have a squad ready for the start of the season.
