West Ham hold interest in defender Axel Disasi with a loan deal potentially on the cards in January according to reports.
The Blues have made a strong start to the season and currently sit second, just four points behind leaders Liverpool, whilst they are two points clear of Arsenal in third and four ahead of Manchester City in fourth.
Chelsea have invested heavily in their squad over the past few years and with January fast approaching players are being linked with the club, whilst others are being linked with moves away.
The Blues are expected to try and find solutions for the likes of Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka, whilst Cesare Casadei is thought to be in negotiations over a loan move to Serie A side Monza.
One or two of Chelsea’s more established players could leave if the right offers were to come in and TBR Football have reported West Ham hold interest in Disasi.
The report adds a potential loan deal could be on the cards as the Hammers look to strengthen their squad after a difficult start to the season.
Disasi has struggled for regular minutes in the league this season.
The Hammers have previously been linked with a move for Disasi’s team-mate Tosin Adarabioyo, whilst they spent big money of Max Kilman in the summer.
Disasi’s featured regularly last season following his £38m move from Monaco, but this season has been a different story, and reports have claimed he’s not technical enough for Enzo Maresca’s system.
The 26-year-old is arguably Chelsea’s fifth choice centre back and opportunities have been few and far between for the Frenchman.

Disasi has made just three Premier League appearances totalling 184 minutes, although he’s featured far more regularly in the Conference League, where he’s largely been deployed at right back.
It’s hard to see how Disasi forces his way into the Premier League side on a regular basis and he’s a player you would expect to leave the club, although an exit next summer would seem far more likely.
