This season's surprise package in Brighton & Hove Albion will be eager to extend their impressive streak as they travel to St. Helen's Stadium to face Liverpool on Friday evening.
Dario Vidosic's Seagulls side will be hoping that they can maintain their top-five momentum heading into the clash in Merseyside. As for Liverpool, Matt Beard's team will seek to rectify their disappointing start to the 2024/25 season. The Reds currently sit eighth in the league standings, but a lacklustre nine-point tally sees them just four points off the bottom.

Two struggling sides will butt heads this Saturday as Everton host Aston Villa at Walton Hall Park. Despite having just eight points to their name, the Toffees achieved one of the greatest WSL upsets in the first half of the league as they ran over Man City in the final fixture before the Christmas break.
Aston Villa are enduring a turbulent period following Robert de Pauw's sacking last month, as interim head coach Shaun Goater gets ready to take over the reigns.
The Villans have been far from remarkable in the 2024/25 season so far, currently holding just nine points to their name despite having an impressive summer transfer window.
Brian Sorensen's Everton side will be bolstered by their winter signings, and will be hungry to challenge Villa on home turf.

Despite the large gap between the two sides in the league standings, just five points seperate Tottenham and Leicester City heading into this match at Brisbane Road Stadium. The teams have met on eight occasions, with the Foxes picking up just one win across the encounters.
Spurs fans were quick to question the philosophy of head coach Robert Vilahamn as the season commenced, but the side's performance in the league standings is far from disappointing. They currently occupy sixth spot in the WSL table, and a win against the struggling Foxes will be sure to boost morale in north-London.
Amandine Miquel's side have just one win so far this season, sitting just one-point clear of last place. The Foxes will need to show their teeth against the defensive vulnerabilities of Spurs if they are to give a pulse to their 2024/25 campaign. However, squad depth will remain an issue for Miquel as they travel to the capital.

The high-flying Gunners have stepped into 2025 in good spirits. Arsenal haven't lost a game since last October and will be sure favourites once again heading into this weekend.
Last-place Crystal Palace will be desperate to scrape a point from the meeting, but the odds may well be stacked against them. Palace have fallen victim to back-to-back routs when facing the top teams this season, losing 7-0 to Chelsea and 3-0 against Manchester City.
Arsenal will be expected to maintain their stellar form when they return to Meadow Park this Sunday.

Chelsea dropped their first points of the 2024/25 campaign just before the Christmas break, after a hard fought 1-1 draw to Leicester City saw Sonia Bompastor's victorious streak come to an end.
West Ham have done well to challenge the Blues with close results in the past, but have not picked up a victory against their London rivals across 15 encounters.

A Manchester derby awaits Etihad Stadium as the Cityzens seek to avenge their league form against their city rivals. Riddled with injuries, Gareth Taylor will be hoping that his side can turn the tide on a turbulent few months.
As for Man United, a win against their city enemies will see them leapfrog into the top three of the league standings. Marc Skinner's side have injury luck on their side and will hope to exploit a wounded Man City side heading into the clash.
Although the Cityzens would be the usual favourites heading into derby day, United may just claw a result and paint the town red.
