Aston Villa host Newcastle United in the Premier League this evening in a huge clash at Villa Park.

Newcastle are chasing a seventh straight win in all competitions. The Magpies thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 in midweek to climb to third in the Premier League. Newcastle have not finished inside the Premier League’s top three since 2002/03.

Unai Emery has a full-strength squad to choose from following Leon Bailey’s return to the bench in midweek.

The Spaniard has preferred Marcus Rashford to Ollie Watkins in attack of late but the latter is pushing for a start after scoring at Southampton last weekend. In that 3-0 win at St Mary’s, all three goals came from substitutes to demonstrate the new found strength in depth for Villa. A decision will also be made on the club’s penalty taker, after Marco Asensio missed two penalties in the same game at Southampton.
