For most players, scoring a single hat-trick in their career would be deemed a serious achievement, but not for Cristiano Ronaldo who, alongside Lionel Messi, took the game, statistics and everything else to an entirely different level.

On this day in 2018, he scored the 50th of his incredible career in Real Madrid's 6-3 win over Girona at the Bernabeu.
