Gianluigi Donnarumma is undoubtedly one of the most divisive goalkeepers in the world. The former AC Milan shot-stopper was heavily criticised following the first-leg as he failed to save Harvey Elliott's late strike that gave the win to Liverpool. However, the Italy international goalkeeper was the main man as Paris Saint-Germain knocked Liverpool out of the Champions League a couple of weeks ago, saving two crucial penalties in the shootout.
Since then, his future has been once again a subject of discussion among fans and pundits alike. Many would like to see him extend his contract beyond 2026 with the French champions while recent rumours are sending the 26-year-old back to Italy to joined Inter Milan in the summer to reunite with his former goalkeeping coach, Gianluca Spinelli.

Furthermore, he ranks at the top of PSG's wishlist if Gianluigi Donnarumma was to leave Paris whether it is this summer or at the end of his contract in 2026.

The Russian shot-stopper could be a reliable option for Paris if Gianluigi Donnarumma departs the club. Though he had limited play time under Luis Enrique since signing for the club last summer, the former FK Krasnodar player showed many of his qualities, mostly in the Coupe de France.
Reports suggest, however, that he could also leave in the summer if the club chooses to sign Chevalier from Lille. Additionally, Paris' pursuit of Ukraine international Illya Zabarnyi could also put his future at the club in jeopardy. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old would be a great option to become PSG's next number one.
One of the best keeper in the world. The Brazilian goalkeeper showcased his fanstastic abilities as his side defeated Paris at the Parc des Princes in their Champions League Round of 16 first-leg. Though it will be very difficult to sign him, the arrival of Georgia international goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili to Liverpool next summer could put his tenure as Liverpool's number one keeper in jeopardy.
The former AS Roma goalkeeper could therefore consider an exit and Paris would be a solid option to welcome him in their ranks.

The 31-year-old has been a key figure for Guardiola's Manchester City since 2017. However, his contract a the club is nearing its final year and he could become PSG's keeper if no contract extension is signed between the Brazilian and City.
The Brazil international would also perfectly fit into Luis Enrique’s football philosophy with his impressive ball-playing abilities for a keeper. Though he might not be the best long-term solution at the position for the club, he would still be a solid option to replace Donnarumma.
