Enzo Millot (22) has certainly laid his cards on the table when it comes to his future at VfB Stuttgart. Speaking on Tuesday, he confirmed that leaving the German side is an “objective” this summer.
Millot captained the France side that won the Olympics in the summer and this upcoming summer, he is looking to make another step in his career. After another consistent campaign with Stuttgart, he has made his intentions clear regarding a move at the end of the season.
“A departure? Naturally, it is an objective that I have set myself,” began the midfielder in a press conference following his call-up once again to the France U21 squad.
He added, “But I am focused on Stuttgart. We know that the club’s objective is to qualify for a European competition next year.” L’Équipe reported last month that Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund were a potential suitor for Millot, whose current contract with Stuttgart runs until 2028.
In a previous interview, the former AS Monaco midfielder revealed a desire to join boyhood club Paris Saint-Germain. Millot did, however, add that it wouldn’t be a “failure” to remain at Stuttgart beyond the summer transfer window.
