Luis Enrique was today in Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-match press conference ahead of Les Parisiens’ Ligue 1 match against OGC Nice this Friday evening. The Spaniard admitted that he hasn’t worked on set pieces when responding to a question about Arsenal’s strengths from corners and free-kicks. The following was transcribed in French by RMC Sport. “No, I haven’t planned to work on set pieces because I’ve known Arsenal for a very long time,” said Enrique on Thursday afternoon. “We’ve already played them this season. The qualities and flaws that have got us this far are the same.”“We want to win every trophy by playing the way we play and defending the way we defend. No team in the world is perfect, and neither will we be.”Les Parisiens were held by FC Nantes on Tuesday night (1-1) with a heavily rotated side. Les Canaris managed to cause PSG trouble when they sat in a low block, grabbing an equaliser via Douglas Augusto. They do however, remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season – and look to extend that run against Nice this Friday. “We need to know what Arsenal we will face. If they score quickly, they might be in a low-block thereafter. At the start, they should press more. We will adapt,” said Enrique following the game this week. GFFN | George Boxall
