Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are gearing up for a high-stakes UEFA Champions League semifinal, with just 180 minutes standing between them and a spot in the final. While the two teams met earlier in the group stage, PSG has evolved since then.
The Gunners secured their place in the semifinals with a commanding 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg, completing a dominant 5-1 aggregate win.
PSG also advanced with a 5-1 advantage, but their path was much more tense, holding on for a narrow 5-4 aggregate win.
Heading into this matchup, neither team is coming off a victory. PSG drew 1-1 against FC Nantes and suffered a surprising loss to OGC Nice, ending their unbeaten streak in Ligue 1, while Arsenal played to a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the first leg clash clash on Tuesday, talkSPORT’s David Seaman stated that Arsenal will encounter a more tactically challenging tie than what they did with Real Madrid.
“I think the PSG game will be a lot more difficult tactically because we saw when PSG played Liverpool in Paris, they were fantastic. That was against our Premier League leaders, and if it hadn’t been for Alisson, who knows what the score could have been… It’s going to be a great game. It’s going to be a tough game because I think PSG are little bit better than what Real Madrid are.”
