Two leading members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona could be forced to bring premature ends to their respective stints on international duty this month.

This comes owing to La Liga’s fixture plans.

On Monday, confirmation of the rescheduled date for Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Osasuna was made official.

In news which did not go down at all well with Hansi Flick and his coaching staff, the matchup has been pencilled in for March 27th.

As much would mean Barca being forced to make do without the services of both Raphinha, and Ronald Araújo.

Wide-man Raphinha is due to take to the pitch for Brazil against Argentina in the early hours of March 26th, with defender Araújo set to line out for Uruguay against Bolivia just hours before.

To be available for selection to face Osasuna, both players would therefore be required to depart their respective national camps early.

It now remains to be seen whether as much is considered a viable option by either.
